Connecting Young Audiences with the Arts

Educational and Performing Arts Programs

The Creative Arts Programs (CAPs) enriches the lives of students and families by bringing high quality arts programs by performing, visual, and literary artists to member schools, corporations, booking organizations, event firms, park and recreation departments, libraries, and many other organizations.

The Arts Council auditions artists and performing groups suitable for family audiences and students into the CAPs program. Then, the Arts Council hosts two showcases of CAPs participants so members can identify artists for artistic and educational presentations.
